So here is how it works for me working without a helper:
For up to the first hour $85 flat fee
For the second hour $70 per hour
For the third hour $65 per hour
For every hour after $60 per hour
-Or just $65 per hour
Any time I spend toward a job is billed toward that job. This includes going to the store for materials.
For materials that I purchase I have a 50% mark-up. i.e.: If I pay $1 for and item used for the job, the homeowner reimburses me $1.50.
6 hour limit work day. There is time that goes into a job and into general overhead that is unseen, and a 6 hr on-the-job limit leaves some time for that.
If a helper is needed, you can provide one or I can, and you would be paying him directly thereby cutting-out the middleman; me. The more skill the better for helpers because then there is less distraction for me. This way, I can be more effective in my work.
